On its beautiful historic site in Carcavelos, between central Lisbon and Cascais, St. Julian’s has been offering an outstanding education since 1932. Our traditions reflect the uniqueness of our identity; as a British international school in Portugal we provide three different curricula depending on the section of the school the student attends. These range from the local Portuguese system, through to the English National Curriculum to the final two years of the IB international diploma, which provides a gateway to universities all over the world.
First step for registering is the completion and return of the application form including reference area and payment of the registration fee. At this stage copies of the parents' and the child’s ID cards / passports must also be provided, as well as copies of the student’s recent school reports.
When a place becomes available, the Admissions Office will inform the parents. An interview will be scheduled for the child and parents with the relevant section principal. Admission to school will be determined by the Headmaster with the advice of the relevant academic staff.

On February 7th, the Year 12s had the opportunity to attend a session by a representative of the Oxford Study Courses, Joyce Halsey. During this workshop the speaker explained different study methods and ways of revising. She captivated us by using real life examples, statistics and visual aids such as graphs.Read more
